In a strong statement, the chief of Banda-Boase in the Banda district of the Bono region, Odeɛfoɔ Dua Bata Buoɔ Ligbi Wullotei II, condemned the vandalism at the National Democratic Congress (NDC) office. He promised to engage directly with both the youth and local residents to address their concerns. Additionally, he expressed gratitude to President Mahama for appointing Banda MP Ahmed Ibrahim as the Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy Religious Affairs and Sanitation, and he congratulated the DCE nominee, Peter Donji, pledging his full support.
Meanwhile, Mr. Donkor distanced himself from the violent act and urged supporters to back the DCE nominee. He reaffirmed his trust in President Mahama’s decision-making and the process of appointing MMDCEs.
