Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the 2024 Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), will begin a nationwide “Thank You” tour on Saturday, 26th April 2025. He will travel with the Party’s leadership to express appreciation for the strong support received during the 2024 elections.

The NPP’s National Council has approved the tour, which highlights the gratitude of Dr. Bawumia, his Campaign Team, and the entire Party to NPP members and the general public.

Themed “In All Things, Give Thanks to God” (1 Thessalonians 5:18), the tour reflects the Party’s Christian values and recognition of divine guidance throughout the campaign.

The tour aims to strengthen bonds between the Party’s leadership and grassroots supporters. It also provides a platform to re-energize the Party as it moves forward.

The journey will take them through all sixteen regions of Ghana. It starts in the Western Region on 26th April and ends in the Central Region on 4th June 2025.

The Ashanti Region, due to its size and political influence, will host a three-day event from 29th April to 1st May.

Each region will organize gatherings at both the regional and constituency levels. These events will allow Party supporters to come together, celebrate, and plan for the future.

The tour will conclude with national thanksgiving services that include both Christian and Islamic ceremonies, symbolizing unity and inclusiveness.

NPP leaders encourage all members and sympathizers to join the events in their respective areas. The Party sees this as a moment to renew its connection with citizens and prepare for the journey ahead.

They believe that unity and gratitude must guide the Party’s next steps.
