According to Bishop Obinim, these scammers have been impersonating him and his church, asking unsuspecting individuals for money and other forms of assistance. He stated that these actions are not only illegal but also bring shame to his name and the church.

Bishop Obinim warned the public to be cautious and vigilant when interacting with individuals claiming to represent him or his church on social media. He advised that any requests for financial assistance or donations should be verified through official channels before responding.

The bishop also urged the authorities to take swift action against these scammers, ensuring that they are brought to justice and face the consequences of their actions.

In a statement, Bishop Obinim emphasized his commitment to serving the community and spreading the word of God, and he will not tolerate any actions that tarnish his reputation or harm innocent people.
