The Ghana national football team, the Black Stars, will travel to Morocco on March 24, 2025, for their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Madagascar. The game, originally scheduled to take place in Antananarivo, Madagascar, has been relocated to the Grand Stade d’Al Hoceima in Al Hoceima, Morocco, due to the unapproved status of Madagascar’s national stadium.

The match, set to kick off at 19:00 hrs, is a crucial fixture in Group I, with Ghana currently sitting in second place with nine points from four matches. The Black Stars will face Madagascar after hosting Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Ghana’s qualifying campaign has seen its fair share of ups and downs, with a 1-0 win over Madagascar in their opening match, followed by a loss to Comoros. However, the team bounced back with consecutive victories over Mali and the Central African Republic in June last year.

With the stakes high, the Black Stars will be looking to secure a win against Madagascar and maintain their momentum in the qualifying campaign.
