Dancegod Lloyd, Afronitaaa, Abigail, and DWP Academy Shine at GHADI Awards 2025
The 2nd edition of the Ghana Dance Industry (GHADI) Awards took place at the National Theatre on Saturday, February 8, 2025. This event celebrated outstanding contributions to Ghana’s dance community.
Dancer of the Year: Dancegod Lloyd
Dancegod Lloyd won the prestigious Dancer of the Year award. He faced stiff competition from Incredible Zigi, Afronitaaa, Endurance Grand, Ezuntey Flex, and Bboy Lyricx. Ultimately, his exceptional contributions to the dance scene earned him this honor.
Street Dance Group of the Year: DWP Academy
Additionally, DWP Academy was recognized as the Street Dance Group of the Year. They surpassed notable nominees, including Millitantz Dance Family and Team Hubes. This accolade highlights the academy’s significant impact on street dance culture.
Dance Merit Awards: Afronitaaa and Abigail
Furthermore, Afronitaaa and Abigail received Dance Merit Awards. Their dedication as Street Dance Culture Ambassadors was acknowledged during the event.
