Akua Donkor, founder and leader of the Ghana Freedom Party, will have her final funeral rites on Saturday, March 29, 2025. Family and supporters will gather to celebrate her life. They will bury her in Ejuratia, Ashanti Region. Then, on Sunday, March 30, 2025, the community will hold a thanksgiving service at the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church.
Until her death on Tuesday, October 28, 2024, at the Ridge Hospital in Accra, she served as the GFP’s presidential candidate. She inspired many with her bold leadership and clear vision.
