The incident occurred when the student, a member of the Unity Hall “jama group,” was stabbed by unidentified individuals over a money dispute after a performance.

Visit and Donation
Dr. Bawumia visited the student at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, where he expressed his sympathies and extended his best wishes for a speedy recovery. The former Vice President also donated GH¢50,000 to support the student’s medical expenses.

The student’s grandmother received the donation and expressed heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Bawumia and the NPP delegation for their visit and financial support. Dr. Bawumia thanked Allah for sparing the student’s life and wished him a full recovery.
