A land dispute in Ajumako Chiebir, Central Region, led to a violent clash between two brothers, leaving one of them seriously injured.

George Paintsil, a farmer, suffered deep machete wounds to the head during an altercation with his elder brother, Daniel Enyan. The dispute reportedly began as an argument over a section of their shared farmland.

Eyewitnesses, including ex-Lance Corporal Daniel Mensah, said the attack happened on the farm. They later found Paintsil covered in blood.

Relatives rushed him to the Ajumako Government Hospital for emergency treatment.

Paintsil explained to Adom News that the argument escalated quickly. His brother allegedly struck him with a machete during the fight.

Ex-L/Cpl. Mensah has urged the family to seek peaceful mediation. He emphasized the need to settle the conflict without further violence.
