A section of the Greenhouse Factory at Shai Hills has been gutted by fire, drawing a swift response from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS).
According to reports, four fire tenders from the Gbetsile, Devtraco, Tema Metro, and Motorway Fire Stations were deployed to the site to combat the flames. Firefighters worked tirelessly to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to other parts of the facility.
No injuries or casualties were recorded during the incident, though the exact cause of the fire remains unknown. Officials have begun investigations to determine what triggered the outbreak and to assess the full extent of the damage.
The GNFS has praised its officers for their quick and coordinated response, noting that their efforts prevented the fire from escalating further.
