The Football Association has announced the highly anticipated return of the Ghana Premier League, with Matchday 23 scheduled to take place from Friday, March 7, to Monday, March 10, 2025. This decision follows a thorough safety and security assurance inspection of all venues, conducted by the GFA and the Ministry for Sports and Recreation.

The resumption of the league is a result of extensive engagement with stakeholders, including the training of personnel on the Enhanced Matchday Safety and Security Protocols 2025. This comprehensive document, developed in collaboration with clubs, aims to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for fans, players, and officials.

In addition to the upcoming Matchday 23 fixtures, the Football Association has also released the schedules for the outstanding Premier League matches. Matchday 20 will take place from March 18 to 20, Matchday 21 from April 1 to 3, and Matchday 22 from April 15 to 17, 2025.

Furthermore, an outstanding MTN FA Cup match between Asante Kotoko and Sekondi Eleven Wise has been slated for Wednesday, March 12, 2025.

The Football Association is urging all stakeholders, including the Ghana Police Service, to cooperate fully in maintaining safety and security at all match venues. With the league’s resumption, fans can look forward to an exciting conclusion to the 2024-25 Ghana Premier League season.
