The Ambassador-designate of Cuba to Ghana, H.E. Julio Enrique Pujol Torres presented his Open Letters to the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa on Wednesday, 26th February, 2025 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.The Hon. Minister extended a warm welcome and congratulations to H.E. Mr. Julio Enrique Pujol Torres, on his appointment.

He expressed confidence that the Ambassador-designate would build upon the remarkable achievements of his predecessor and further enhance the robust relations between Ghana and Cuba during his tenure, especially in the fields of Education and Medicine.

He expressed Ghana’s appreciation to the Cuban government for the scholarships it continues to extend to Ghana for the training of medical personnel. He commended the Cuban Medical Brigade for their willingness to work in the rural communities and the work they did during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

On his part, H. E. Torres, thank the Minister for the warm reception and expressed his excitement to uphold Cuba-Ghana relations for the benefits of the people
