Black Stars captain Jordan Ayew has assured fans that Ghana will make the nation proud at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The Leicester City forward expressed gratitude to supporters after Ghana sealed qualification with a tough win over Comoros at the Accra Sports Stadium, finishing top of Group I.

Ayew was key throughout the qualifiers, scoring seven goals and providing seven assists. The tournament will be his third World Cup, after appearances in Brazil 2014 and Qatar 2022.
