Aspiring Ashanti Regional Assistant Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kobina Amo-Aidoo, has expressed strong support for Kennedy Agyapong, describing him as the right leader to mend divisions within the party and rekindle its spirit of unity.

In a statement, Mr. Amo-Aidoo said Kennedy Agyapong NPP leadership would bring back discipline, patriotism, and the shared purpose needed to restore confidence in the party ahead of Election 2028.

“Kennedy Agyapong is the man to deal with internal party cracks,” Amo-Aidoo stated, emphasizing that his courage and authenticity make him uniquely positioned to rebuild unity within the NPP.

Kennedy Agyapong’s Role in Restoring the NPP Spirit

According to Mr. Amo-Aidoo, Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong represents the true patriotic values that once defined the NPP’s “United Party” tradition. He noted that over the years, internal divisions and competing interests have weakened the NPP’s collective mission.

“Kennedy Agyapong’s strength, discipline, and honesty reflect the ideals that built our party — unity, integrity, and service to Ghana,” he said.

Mr. Amo-Aidoo highlighted that Agyapong’s boldness and commitment to truth-telling have earned him admiration from both party members and ordinary citizens. His open criticism of hypocrisy and corruption, combined with investments in youth empowerment and local enterprises, demonstrate his practical leadership.

A Call for Bold and Accountable Leadership

Supporters believe that Kennedy Agyapong’s straightforward approach is exactly what the NPP needs to regain credibility and moral direction. In an era where loyalty often overshadows accountability, Agyapong’s call for service to Ghana stands out as a reminder of the NPP’s founding values.

He insists that leadership must be based on merit and dedication, not political favoritism. His message of inclusiveness and respect across generations, according to Amo-Aidoo, makes him capable of bridging the gap between the party’s elders and its youth.

Renewing Hope for the Future

Ghana’s current political climate, marked by polarization and voter fatigue, demands leaders who combine conviction with compassion. Mr. Amo-Aidoo believes that Kennedy Agyapong NPP leadership embodies the courage and energy needed to revive the party’s grassroots strength and inspire national optimism.

“Kennedy Agyapong’s leadership style speaks to every Ghanaian who still believes politics can serve the people. His vision for unity and progress is what the NPP — and Ghana — needs right now,” Amo-Aidoo concluded.

To many within and outside the party, Kennedy Agyapong is more than a political contender — he is viewed as a patriot determined to restore the NPP’s founding ideals of self-reliance, accountability, and collective progress.
