Former NSB Boss Charged with Stealing
Kwabena Adu-Boahene, former Director-General of the National Signals Bureau (NSB), has been charged with stealing alongside three others. The charges, filed by the Attorney General on April 30, 2025, allege that the accused persons dishonestly appropriated GH¢28,100,000 belonging to the Republic of Ghana.

Charges and Allegations
The accused persons are alleged to have used the funds for purposes other than procuring a cyber defense system for the Republic of Ghana. The charges include:

  • Count One: Dishonest appropriation of GH¢27,100,000 on or about February 5, 2020.
  • Count Two: Dishonest appropriation of about GH¢1,000,000 on or about March 20, 2020.

Accused Persons
The four accused persons are:

  1. Kwabena Adu-Boahene (former NSB Director-General)
  2. Angela Adjei Boateng
  3. Mildred Donkor
  4. Advantage Solutions Limited

Background
The case involves a $7 million cyber defense system contract, which was allegedly mismanaged. The Attorney General had previously stated that the funds allocated for the project were diverted, and unauthorized transactions were made.
