President John Mahama shared a powerful message of hope and national renewal during the Good Friday Miracle Service at Black Star Square. The event, organized by Lighthouse Chapel International, drew thousands seeking spiritual upliftment.
He opened with an emphatic declaration: “Our nation shall rise again!” He expressed strong belief in Ghana’s economic recovery and a future where young people gain opportunities and families prosper.
Mahama said Ghana’s path to restoration depends on unity, honesty, and collective effort. “When we come together in truth, we build the foundation for a stronger nation,” he noted.
He urged both Christians and people of all faiths to show compassion. He emphasized the importance of helping those facing physical, emotional, and material struggles.
“There are people around us who haven’t eaten or are carrying emotional pain,” he said. “Meanwhile, some have had full meals and still have more waiting at home. Let’s learn to share and ease the burdens of others.”
He encouraged the crowd to reflect on Jesus’ sacrifice and examine how they could serve others. “As we remember Christ’s sacrifice, we must ask: what sacrifices are we making for others?” he asked.
Mahama concluded by affirming his unwavering belief that Ghana will rise. “Our economy will recover. Our youth will find opportunities. Our families will thrive,” he said. “But this can only happen if we unite and act with integrity.”
He left the audience inspired with a renewed sense of responsibility and belief in Ghana’s economic recovery.
