The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, welcomed the Ambassador of South Korea to Ghana, H.E. Park Kyongsig, in a bilateral meeting on 26th February, 2025.
The meeting aimed to explore opportunities for enhanced cooperation in key sectors of mutual interest.
In response, the Ambassador indicated that Ghana is a priority country for the Korean government. Indicating that they had three developmental agencies in Ghana as a testament to their commitment to partnering with Ghana.
Discussions covered key areas such as economic cooperation, education maritime security, climate change, and investment in strategic sectors, including the automobile industry.
Hon. Ablakwa took the opportunity to reaffirm Ghana’s commitment to strengthening ties between the two countries. The meeting ended on a positive note, with both parties reaffirming their dedication to mutual growth and collaboration
