Ghana’s Minister of Interior, Muntaka, has announced plans to implement a 24-hour economy policing system, aimed at guaranteeing security for businesses and individuals operating around the clock.
This initiative aligns with the government’s goal of driving economic progress and maintaining Ghana’s competitiveness in the global economy.
According to Muntaka, a dedicated secretariat will be established to develop and implement sustainable policing models, ensuring security is provided 24/7. This move acknowledges that economic activities don’t stop, and neither can vigilance.
The announcement was made during a Regional Police Commanders’ Conference in Accra, where Muntaka emphasized the importance of security in supporting Ghana’s economic growth.
With this new policing system, Ghanaians can expect a safer environment for businesses to thrive, both in urban and rural areas.
