On Friday, 7th March, I accompanied His Excellency, President John Dramani Mahama, as he launched the African Political Parties Initiative. The theme for the event was “Fostering Inter-party Cooperation and Effective Governance for Africa’s Economic Transformation.”
This initiative, spearheaded by the Africa Governance Centre, is focused on fostering cooperation, strengthening democratic governance, and advancing policy innovation among political parties across the African continent.
Among the dignitaries present were His Excellency Jeffrey Thamsanqa Radebe, Chair of the Advisory Board of the Africa Governance Centre and Special Envoy of the President of South Africa; His Excellency Alexander Grant Ntrakwa, Ghana’s former Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Comoros; and Her Excellency Edite Ten Jua, Former Vice President of the Constitutional Court, Former Minister of
Justice & Foreign Affairs of Sao Tome & Principe, and Executive Secretary to the 2025 African Political Parties Summit.
