Tension has gripped the Sampa community in the Bono Region following a violent confrontation on Sunday afternoon that resulted in the death of a police officer.

According to local reports, a group of masked gunmen launched a sudden assault in several parts of the town, firing multiple gunshots during what appears to have been a fierce clash between two rival groups.

Adom News correspondent Christian Ofori-Akumah revealed that law enforcement agencies have been swiftly deployed to restore peace and prevent further escalation. Residents say the heavy security presence has brought a sense of calm, though fear still lingers within the community.

Police have intensified patrols throughout Sampa as investigations continue to uncover the motive behind the attack and identify those responsible for the incident.

As of now, the Ghana Police Service has not released any official statement regarding the Sampa Policeman Attack.
