Ghanaian dancehall sensation Shatta Wale has described fellow artiste Samini as his best friend, revealing plans to gift him a luxurious car in the future.
Speaking in an interview on Kumasi’s Kessben FM on November 25, the “Wash” hitmaker expressed deep admiration for Samini, crediting their strong bond to overcoming past conflicts orchestrated by others in the music industry.
“The only person they started crashing my head with was Samini,” Shatta Wale explained. “Now, Samini is my best friend because I love him so much, and I owe him a lot in my life. I’m praying to God to bless me with more money so that on one of my birthdays, I can buy a big car for him.”
Reflecting on the divisive nature of the music industry, Shatta Wale noted how similar tactics have been used to pit artistes like himself and Stonebwoy, and even the rising star Black Sherif, against each other.
