A massive crowd turned up at Atwima Koforidua in the Atwima Nwabiagya District to mourn the passing of beloved TikTok comedian Elvis Frimpong, widely known as Osanju.
The 30-year-old social media sensation died on September 1, 2025, after battling an undisclosed illness. His funeral, held at the Atwima Koforidua School Park, attracted hundreds of fans, family members, and notable Ghanaian celebrities.
Among the attendees were actress Nana Ama McBrown, content creator Oheneba Jude, and several popular TikTok personalities, who came together to celebrate Osanju’s life and legacy.
In an emotional tribute, Osanju’s father, Agya K, described his son as a “great pillar who had fallen,” expressing how deeply the loss had affected him.
“My son was my breadwinner. Now, who will take care of me? My hope is lost,” he lamented.
Agya K also revealed that the tragedy came barely a year after losing his wife, leaving him devastated but still grateful to God, citing the biblical call to give thanks in all circumstances.
Mourners praised Osanju for his talent, humour, and impact on Ghana’s entertainment scene, describing him as a creative force who brought joy to many through his videos.
Following the funeral rites, the late comedian was laid to rest in his hometown amid tears and heartfelt tributes from fans and loved ones.
