Sammy Awuku, the Director General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA), has made an impassioned plea to Ghanaians to vote for hope and a brighter future in the upcoming general elections. Speaking at the New Patriotic Party’s final rally at the University of Ghana Sports Park, Awuku emphasized that the election presents a choice between hope and despair, and urged voters to choose wisely.

Awuku’s message was clear: the next New Patriotic Party government, led by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, would deliver on its promises of job creation, improving the free Senior High School (SHS) program, and ensuring citizens have financial stability. He called on Ghanaians to vote massively for the NPP, emphasizing that the election is a “destiny vote” that would determine the future of the country.

In a heartfelt appeal, Awuku urged Ghanaians not to be swayed by empty promises or superficial attractions. “This election is not about a fake promise of offering you three chicks or running shifts at a nightclub, no, not at all,” he said. “This election is about your future.”Awuku’s words resonated deeply with the crowd, many of whom were visibly moved by his passionate appeal.

As Ghanaians prepare to head to the polls, Awuku’s message serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of choosing leaders who will truly serve the interests of the people.
